Regarding planning application no. 43272 Batsworthy Cross.

I wish to OBJECT to this application on the following additional grounds:-

These turbines will have a devastating impact on the landscape of much of Devon and Exmoor National Park and is contrary to planning policies.

Exmoor National Park and Mid Devon District Council have objected so North Devon must reject this application.

North Devon District Council must undertake a full noise assessment based upon the raw noise data relating to the site.

North Devon must not ignore the health concerns from low frequency noise and the very worrying evidence now available from Dr Nina Pierpont (Nina Pierpont MD, PhD – Wind Turbine Syndrome: A report on a Natural Experiment).

North Devon should commission a Tourism Survey to assess the impact of turbines on this area as recommended by SW Tourism.

These turbines may have catastrophic effect on wildlife in and around the adjacent SSSI, and the internationally designated Special Area of Conservation, contrary to the European Directive 92/43.

The cumulative impact of 24 turbines in this area coud be ruinous. Allow one application and others will follow.
