Petition objecting to the proposal for wind turbines at Batsworthy Cross
We, the undersigned strongly object to the proposal by npower renewables to erect wind turbines at Batsworthy Cross, near Knowstone, Tiverton in Devon.
This is the gateway to North Devon – because of their giant size they will be clearly visible from Dartmoor to Exmoor. They are inappropriate, out of scale with their surroundings and will have a devastating impact on the livelihoods of people over a vast area.
We want realistic constant energy from renewable resources, not intermittent, expensive and inappropriate turbines.
